» General Rules

§1: The team can change the rules whenever they want to.
Sometimes we have to change little things or details. We want to be able to do that without making a big announcement about it every time. So just check up on the rules every other week and you'll be fine.

§2: The rating is NC-15.
This means that you have to be at least 15 to join our community. We aquire a mature behaviour and writing style and we believe that only people older than that can bring that.

§3: We have areas for NC-17-posts.
If you want to write a sex scene for example, you have to be at least 17 to be allowed access to the NC-areas in the main and side plays. You will only get access if you really are seventeen.

§4: Violating the NC rules leads to deletion of the characters.
We are very strict with the rating: if you don't post according to the rating, we will delete you. Not after one post, then we will warn you - but if you do it a second time, you will have to leave us.

§5: Spamming is only allowed in the spam area.
The board needs to be kept clean, so don't post unneccessary comments beneath charactersheets, for example, or in the news. You can leave all your comments either in the spam area or in the messages, that's what they're there for.

§6: Don't post twice in one thread.
The exception to that is, obviously, the spam area. If you want to add something to your other post, use the "Edit" function of our hoster and put it beneath the rest of the text of the post.

§7: Tell us if you can't come online.
Of course we get it if your real life is stressful and you don't have time to come on and post that much - we know that ourselves. But please tell us so we can excuse your absence.

§8: Characters who haven't been online in a month (without excusing themselves beforehand) will be put on the blacklist.
If you land there, that's not a problem: we'll message you, and if you come back in the next two weeks - if only to tell us you can't come online -, it'll be fine. Should you not come back, we will delete your characters.

» Application Rules

§1: With the application to the forum you accept the rules.
We recomment to read the rules and read them well because if you violate them, you will be deleted. Without them, nothing would work right, so you better follow them.

§2: You name your account with the first and surname of your character.
That means you don't have to name your account "Julia Adrienna Fabienne O'Marley", but only "Julia O'Marley". Accounts with only one name ("Julia") or spam names containing any numbers or stuff will be deleted without comment. (For example "honeybunny135" or similar.)

§3: Be sure you have enough time for the forum.
We don't want - and also don't need - characters that come online once or twice, post an unfinished application sheet and then never turn up ever again. If you apply, make sure you have enough time and dedication for us.

§4: Your application must be finished inbetween 14 days.
You are allowed to post it in the application area unfinished to work on it, but in a span of two weeks it must be finished. If you can't make it due to stress or a writer's block or whatever, tell us and you'll get another one or two weeks, but don't take it for granted.

§5: You are not allowed to change the codes given.
We put a lot of work into the codes and made sure it fits to the style of our forum. If you change it all, we wouldn't have needed to do that; so just take it and fill it, but don't change it.

§6: You need "Welcome On Board"s from both admins.
Only then your character area will be created so you can fill it in, and only then you are allowed to post in the inplay. If you should post anything outside of the application before being allowed, it will be deleted.

§7: Your character area needs to be filled completely.
This means that you have to post your charactersheet there, your relations-sheet and a plottracker. Additionally, you are allowed to post a diary or a closet for your character.

§8: As long as you manage to keep all characters active, you can play as many characters as you want.
This means that we want to see that you can put up with the pressure of having multiple characters. For every new character, you need to ask the admins if they are ok with that - you need to be active in the inplay and have finished the application of your newest character at least a month ago.

» Graphic Rules

§1: Your avatar must be 200px wide and 300px tall.
Everyone needs to have an avatar in this height. It has to show the face of your character, and you should not edit it too much so you can see everything clearly.

§2: The signature picture can't be taller than 450px wide and 250px tall.
Everything that's taller could change the looks of our forum in a bad way, we don't want that. You can also add a few lines of text, but please not more than 3 lines atop a picture. Also, if you only have text, it should not be more than 7 lines and not completely filled lines either.

§3: You must only use photographs.
Other graphics, for example animes or paintings, but also digital art, are not allowed. We only play real persons, so the used graphics should be real as well.

§4: You must only use famous avatar persons.
This means that we allow most models, actors and musicians - except for those who don't want that. There's a list somewhere with which you cannot use. You will find it if you google it. You should not use pictures from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or similar sites from people that aren't famous. Also you shouldn't use Deviantart photos as long as you can avoid it.

§5: Your graphics must show your own character.
Especially in the avatar, there should not be another person shown. Of course you can put another character in your signature, but the main focus should still lay on your character, not on the other one.

§6: Your avatar person can only be changed if the admins allow it.
We don't want you to run through the avatar persons like you run through your clothes, don't change them every day. Of course we will allow some changes if you have valid reasons, but ask before you do it.

§7: The administration does not take any responsibility for the used graphics.
It's your own responsibility to make sure that you are allowed to use the pictures, so if you weren't allowed to take them, you have to deal with the consequences on your own.

» Inplay Rules

§1: We play in single scenes.
That means you'll be given a span of time in which you can let your characters 'come to live'. You open a new thread for every scene you want to play - there will be a model for the header of a scene with the information you need to give. Make sure that there are never scenes which times overlap.

§2: You can open as many scenes as you think you can manage.
There are people who manage to be active in five scenes, but others barely manage one - please participate only in as many as you think you'll be able to get right. If we notice that there are inactive scenes, we take the right to close them.

§3: look after the spelling, grammar and syntax of your posts.
Please make sure your language is correct and not to complicated. Also, everything that is said aloud has to be written "bold" and everything your characters think in 'italics'. And remember to put a small summary at the bottom of your post.

§4: If there are more than two characters in a scene, put down a posting order and keep to it.
Everybody has the same right to post, and it would be only unfair if two parts of the scene kept posting, just ignoring the third party. The only exception occurs when somebody is on vacation or actually said they don't have time.

§5: Your post should be at least 2000 characters long.
This should be a manageable length for your post. Of course you can write longer, and we won't complain if one or another post is a bit shorter than that. But please try to reach it - if you concentrate on your characters thoughts and feelings and also consider your surroundings, it shouldn't be too hard to reach.

§6: You have to choose your own post colour.
Every colour can be taken only once. You can of course ask if you can change it if your colour isn't readable anymore after a style change, but usually you should be sure you want to have exactly that colour because we don't change it for any reason.
